Libraries change lives
Libraries are the best kind of philanthropy. – Andrew Carnegie
Libraries change lives. By opening doors and resources to all, libraries bring communities together and provide equal opportunities to learn. Look back on your life: a public library may have loaned you a book that is still a favorite, provided a safe and quiet place to study, opened your eyes to new worlds, or made your day.
Public tax dollars keep our libraries running, but funds raised by the Library Foundation allow our libraries to do more, reach more, and be more.
